Our Restaurant is open for our Hāngī Lunch Buffet (11:30am until 2:00pm) daily. Last seating is at 1pm.
The menus are smartly sophisticated – infusing Māori flavours, with an array of global cuisines and cooking styles. From our popular corn & watercress soup, served alongside fresh homemade bread to our range of kai moana (seafood) with a crisp salad buffet, your meal will begin with a light entrée, to prepare you for the main course to follow.

Te Pō Combo begins at 4pm with our fully guided experiences to enrich your visit to our historical geothermal valley. Each guide adds a personal touch to inspire and help visitors truly connect with the Te Puia experience.

Get up close and personal with one of our national treasures in our brand-new Kiwi Conservation Centre. Visit the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute and Āhua Gallery.
After working up an appetite enjoy a mouth-watering buffet at our world famous Pātaka Kai Restaurant & Bar, followed by an exhilarating cultural performance and then if you want more, head back down into the geothermal wonderland featuring the world famous Pōhutu Geyser.

When darkness falls the true love story of Rotorua’s geothermal wonderland comes to life…
Until now, the magic hidden within Te Puia has remained a secret that only Mother Nature has truly been exposed to. For the first time, the geothermal valley is revealed under night skies, providing a multi-sensory experience that can not be replicated anywhere else in the world.
Meet with your guide at the Main Entrance to Te Puia under our waharoa (gateway). After a brief kōrero (talk), you will be escorted to Te Heketanga-ā-Rangi, our superbly carved and architecturally designed, Māori feature.
Geyser By Night begins at 7:45pm and concludes at approx. 10pm. Please allow 2 hours for this experience.

Walking shoes and a moderate-medium level of fitness are needed and can be subject to the weather. Recommended Ages: 8 years and older (must be able to do a late night walk).
